Gynecology Services Coming to Bellingham and More News

We hope this post finds you in good health! We want to inform you of the latest changes and updates at Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine and Dermatology. 

MSFMD welcomes Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Michele Ingram 

We are excited to announce that an excellent Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), Michele Ingram, will join Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine and Dermatology in November.

Michele is excited to return to Bellingham, where she will provide full spectrum care for women. Michele has 30+ years of experience caring for women and especially loves helping women with hormone management, contraception, menopause, and infertility.

Bellingham has lost some of our best private gynecologic providers in recent months to retirement, so we are excited to offer another option for Whatcom County.

Andrea Phillips, CNM, is no longer at MSFMD

We have recently learned that Andrea Phillips CNM has decided to be a mom at this chapter in her life and will not return to work at Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine and Dermatology after her maternity leave. While we will miss her lovely spirit, we also wish her the very best moving forward with her new child and respect her embracing motherhood. 

ARNP Lauren Schreffler will continue to provide telemedicine services 

Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine & Dermatology has also hired Lauren Schreffler ARNP to join our clinic long-term beyond per diem work. Lauren is a very experienced family practice provider who will maintain only telemedicine visits, 2 days a week. She comes to us from Peace Health Fairhaven Urgent Care Clinic and is now living out of state, but can provide care by video for our patients. You can learn more about our group on our website at:

Reminder: MSFMD has moved to Cornwall Medical Center 

Most of you know we have moved to the brand new Cornwall Medical Center up the street from our old space. If you have not been in yet, it is a lovely and spacious space shared with Advanced Sports Chiropractic with Dr. Bob Curtis, DC, providing decompression services for spine care and Stacey Medcalf Skin Care-licenced aesthetician. We are now across the parking lot from the Cornwall Wellness and Massage Center where there are many individual practitioners providing insurance massage therapy, hot stone massage, hypnotherapy, and some future services coming this fall.
